No! Per Florida State Law, a patient may see a physical therapist via “direct access” without a physician referral on file for up to 30 days. Once a patient has been seen for 30 days, we must have a physician referral on file. However, this does not always mean that you have to schedule an appointment to see a physician. This is often an easy phone call to your primary care physician for them to send the information we need to continue if necessary.

Reframe Rehab & Wellness has everything you need to have an individualized physical therapy and wellness experience. We bring all the tools we’ll need, such as:

• Treatment Table
• Dry Needling Supplies
• Weights
• Resistance Bands (latex-free)

A course of care with Reframe Rehab & Wellness begins with an initial evaluation, which is priced at $125. After completion of the initial evaluation, your therapist will make a recommendation for continued care based on your unique situation, and you will have two options for payment:

• Pay-As-You-Go: a simple flat fee per session.
• Prepaid Plan of Care Package: pay for full plan of care, based on the recommendation of your physical therapist and your goals.

Wellness services are defined as health care services that are not medically necessary and do not require medical supervision. Wellness services have two specific goals in mind: 

1. Maintenance program for maintaining gains/improvements achieved through formal rehabilitation.

2. Fitness training with a rehab perspective for general fitness goals that are strategic for a safe return to exercise, post-injury/surgery.

• Pay-As-You-Go: a simple flat fee for session
• Prepaid Plan of Care Package: pay for a set number of sessions

Reframe Rehab & Wellness stands to offer services to college students at an affordable rate (40% discount) with proof of college student status. Accessibility to the Gainesville college community is a goal of Reframe Rehab.
